Every day we are a step closer to ending the spread of HIV. We encourage the Georgia Tech Community to lead the way to ending the spread of HIV by getting educated, getting tested, and being empowered to help others do the same. World AIDS Day is Dec. 1, and we encourage you to join us as #TechGoesRed for the day in honor of those affected by HIV/AIDS.

You can Go Red for the day by joining us for a group photo at the campanile on Thursday November 30th at 11am or on December 1st. On November 30th we encourage you to find a little bit of red in your closet or grab a red ribbon from our office to take a group photo. If you're unable to join us for the group photo we encourage everyone to either take a photo of yourself, your organizations, and/or your friends wearing red ribbons or shirts on World AIDS Day which is Friday December 1st. We also encourage you to share your photo(s) on your department/organization and/or personal social media page using #WorldAIDSDayGT and tagging The Wellness Empowerment Center (@gtwellnesscenter). Include a caption of how you are leading the way to end HIV/AIDS. You can also send us your red ribbon photos to healthy@gatech.edu and we can post them on your behalf on the Wellness Empowerment Center Instagram. This picture can be taken on or before December 1st.

Use this form to request ribbons for your office, department, group, student organization, or residence hall beginning on November 20th. Let us know how many ribbons and your preferred date to pick them up. Once you receive a confirmation email that your ribbons are ready for pick up, come to The Wellness Empowerment Center within the Stamps Health Services building on the second floor in Suite 232. You must arrive during business hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday 8 am-1:00 pm and 2:00 pm-5 pm Thursday 9 am-11:00 am and 2:00 pm-5 pm Contact us at healthy@gatech.edu if you need additional information.
