Thank you for your interest in proposing a new course in the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering. Proposed new courses require the following for consideration by the Undergraduate Curriculum and Graduate Program Committees.
 

1. TFA Approval Form
2. New Course Proposal Form
3. Syllabus

Below are further details regarding the overall process and requirements: 

  1. New course proposals are reviewed by the respective committees in September and January.
  2. Materials must be received at least one week in advance of meeting for inclusion on the meeting agenda.
  3. Courses must be approved by the Department Undergraduate/Graduate Committees prior to being offered. 
  4. Courses must be approved by the Department Undergraduate/Graduate Committees prior to moving to Institute Graduate/Undergraduate Curriculum Committees. 
  5. Courses do not require primary faculty approval.
