Neukolln Unlimited explores the daily lives of three Lebanese refugees and hip hop artists in Berlin struggling to evade deportation and establish permanent residency in Germany. *Dinner will be served.*
Chinese SPAG Media Festival: (Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Bill Moore Success Center from 4:30-6:30pm: Screening of Plastic China (China, 2016), followed by Conversation and Panel Discussion with filmmaker Jiu-liang Wang. Plastic China follows the members of a family who spend their lives sorting and recycling plastic waste from the United States, Europe, and Asia. *Dinner will be served.*
Spanish SPAG Media Festival: (Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Bill Moore Success Center from 4:30-6:30pm: Screening of H2O MX (Mexico, 2010), followed by Conversation and Panel Discussion with filmmaker Jose Cohen. H20 MX examines Mexico City's water problems through the perspective of residents, government agencies, business owners and engineers. *Dinner will be served.*
French SPAG Media Festival: (Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Bill Moore Success Center from 4-6:30PM (Reception to follow in Swann Building's Atrium): Screening of Demain (Tomorrow, France, 2015), followed by Conversation and Panel Discussion with scholars. Demain (Tomorrow) follows a team of four people carrying out an investigation in ten different countries to figure out what may lead to the possible extinction of a part of mankind before the end of the 21st century, and above all how to avoid it. *Dinner will be served.*
