The Partnership's Summer Internship Application

Thank you for your interest in the Partnership's Summer Internship (PSI)! Open to all active technical college, undergraduate and graduate students from any accredited higher education institution, PSI offers students the opportunity to work in-person, full-time in intern pairs on innovative and impactful projects that are dedicated to creating a positive public impact across communities. Interns will gain valuable experience working with innovative organizations, leaders and projects while being paid a total of $8,000* over the summer for the 12-week internship. *The summer living stipend is paid bi-weekly at a rate of $16.66 an hour and is taxed as income.
 
Please complete the following application by February 5, to be considered for an internship position.
 
Note, interns selected for positions are required to 1) live within the community they serve or within a daily commutable distance, 2) work in-person, full-time at the work site indicated on the individual job description and 3) be available the full 12 weeks between May 12 - August 1, 2025. PSI interns will be responsible for the cost of their housing, food and transportation. All interns must have reliable transportation to get to their project site daily. Before you apply, please ensure you meet the following criteria. Internship candidates must be:
 
Eligibility:
  • Enrolled and actively engaged at an accredited technical college, undergraduate or graduate college/university with a graduation date no earlier than Spring 2025
  • Enrolled in less than half-time course load* during summer 2025
  • Eligible and able to work 40 hours per week in the U.S. including obtaining work visas through your institution, if necessary
  • Free of summer obligations (other jobs, study abroad/travel) that will conflict with a 40-hour work week between May 12 - August 1, 2025
  • Living in or willing to temporarily relocate to a reasonable daily commuting distance away from the in-person work site listed on the job description

*A half-time course load is defined for undergraduates at 0-5 credit hours and for graduate students 0-2 credit hours. In-person courses must not interfere with the in-person workdays for the project(s) you select.
