Wellness Coaching is where a coach and students (both undergrad and graduate) can come to develop and enhance personal goals. Coaching aims to be very forward thinking, strengths based, and rooted in the utilization of motivational interviewing techniques. Coaching encourages personal responsibility in which the client utilizes reflective thinking, self-discovery, and self-efficacy to discover his or her full potential.
Coaching is centered on the topic of wellness which can encompass many more specific goals. For example, possible areas to explore in coaching include but are not limited to: fitness, sleep, healthy eating, stress, time management, organization, relationships, and future plans.
