Whether from Sãu Paulo or Cairo, Bogatá or Boston, Mexico City or Santiago, we are all part of a global network – not just in the office, classroom, or labs, but virtually as well - where success requires navigating through the different cultural realities of how people think and get things done in global context. Unless we know how to decode other cultures and avoid easy-to-fall-into cultural traps, we can miscommunicate with our students and colleagues. This session will give you concrete information on how culture impacts global interactions, and key strategies to overcome differences to reach your goals.
